Bonnaroo Guidebook Now Available at Manchester KOA
May 16, 2011—The KOA Campground in Manchester now stocks How Do You Roo? A Survivor’s Pocket Guide to Bonnaroo.
KOA Manchester, located a short drive from the Bonnaroo Music Festival site on Interstate 24, added How Do You Roo to their inventory last week.
Featured in the guide to Bonnaroo, the KOA Manchester offers shaded camping, a pool, coffee shop, wi-fi, outdoor bowling, films and a free 24-hour limousine service to the festival. Hot showers, a Jacuzzi and a mini water park are also available to campers. Now the guidebook is on the shelves of the KOA Manchester gift shop. Bonnaroo Book Event in New York 5/23
May 9, 2011—Author Tara L. Groth will host a book talk at The Kush in New York's Lower East Side on Monday, May 23rd at 7PM for How Do You Roo? A Survivor’s Pocket Guide to Bonnaroo.
Groth will discuss her book, advice about attending the annual four-day camping music event and festival trends. Attendees are encouraged to come out and meet others going to The Roo, share their own festival experiences, and learn about other camping music festivals in the US. Those who buy or bring a copy of How Do You Roo will receive complimentary hookah use and drink specials.
The Kush is a lounge in the Bowery that features a variety of live music. “This is a great spot to talk about Bonnaroo. The Bowery Ballroom is just a few blocks away and most of the shows in the coming weeks are acts that will be playing—or have already played—at Bonnaroo,” said Groth.

April 18, 2011—Author Tara L. Groth will host a book talk at the Clear Conscience Cafe in the heart of Cambridge's Central Square on Tuesday, May 3rd at 8PM for How Do You Roo? A Survivor’s Pocket Guide to Bonnaroo.

Those who purchase or bring their copy of How Do You Roo will receive a free cup of organic, shade-grown coffee. Groth will discuss her book, advice about attending the annual four-day camping music event and festival trends.
Clear Conscience Cafe is more than a coffee shop. All of their menu items are sustainably-sourced, locally produced or fairly traded. “I'm really happy Clear Conscience Cafe offered their space. Lots of bands will stop and grab a bite to eat before performing across the street at the Middle East,” said Groth. “Plus they have vegetarian and gluten-free fare, which fits well with a section of the book that explores those food options at Bonnaroo.”

Bonnaroo Guidebook Concert Event in Downtown Raleigh 4/28
April 15, 2011—Cary author Tara Lynne Groth will host a book talk and free concert at Amplified Art Gallery & Boutique on Thursday, April 28th at 7PM for How Do You Roo? A Survivor’s Pocket Guide to Bonnaroo.
Carrboro poet Glenn Cassidy will introduce the evening with a few music-themed poems. The book talk will be immediately followed by the musical delights of the Triangle's Rachel Kiel and Patrick Dyer Wolf. Rachel's musical signature is found in her funny-sad and country-pop sensibility. Patrick is a talented singer/songwriter/guitarist whose music is influenced by Wilco, Tom Waits and Mark Knopfler.

2011 Bonnaroo Guidebook Tour Kicks Off in Asheville and Charlotte
February 16, 2011—Tara Lynne Groth, author of How Do You Roo? A Survivor’s Pocket Guide to Bonnaroo®, will visit western North Carolina to discuss her book, advice about attending the annual four-day music event, and trends in festival innovations.

The book tour kicks off at 6PM on Friday, March 11th at Firestorm Café in downtown Asheville, North Carolina, immediately followed by indie duo Lawrence & Leigh (The Life & Times of SXSW Tour). Firestorm Café is located at 48 Commerce Street. The Park Road Bookstore in Charlotte, located at 4139 Park Road, will host a book discussion on Saturday, March 12th at 11:30AM. Bonnaroo Guidebook Makes Top 100 List on Lulu
January 10, 2011--How Do You Roo? A Survivor’s Pocket Guide to Bonnaroo, the first-ever guidebook to the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, made the Top 100 Books in Travel on Lulu this week.

Released only one month ago, How Do You Roo now holds the 12th slot in Lulu’s Top 100 Travel Books. The pocket-sized guidebook offers money-saving tips, camping recommendations and festival veteran advice for those attending the annual four-day camping and music festival in Tennessee. Between 80,000 and 120,000 music lovers attend Bonnaroo each year. Although the festival is celebrating its 10th Anniversary in June, this is the first year that a guidebook to Bonnaroo is available.
